Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Healthcare experience preferred.
• Medical Assistant Certification or EMT and BLS within first week of orientation.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care following nursing processes of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Register patients and assist with other patient care duties to support patient flow.
• Administer medications according to Health System policy.
• Document assessments and test results in the medical record.
• Assist with the development and implementation of patient education plans and support compliance.
