Southeast Georgia Health System is seeking a Full-Time Medical Support Assistant to join the SGPA Urology team in Brunswick, GA. The role centers on providing patient care using nursing processes, with emphasis on safety, documentation, and teamwork.

Key duties include patient registration, assisting with exams and procedures, medication administration per policy, and supporting patient flow. Requires MA certification or EMT and BLS within first week; healthcare experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Medical Assistant Certification or EMT required.
• American Heart Association BLS certification within first week.
• Healthcare experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Manages care using nursing processes for assigned patients.
• Registers patients and assists with patient flow and care duties.
• Administers medications per Health System policy.
• Assists with exams, diagnostic procedures and treatments.
• Documents assessments, interventions and test results in the chart.
• Participates in the health system's compliance program.
