Job summary

First Church Boxford is seeking a full-time Pastor to shepherd the congregation alongside the temporary session, focusing on preaching, teaching, discipleship, and community-building. The role includes leading worship, administering sacraments, and guiding officers while engaging in outreach and relational care.

The successful candidate will work with a session-centered approach, oversee church nurture, and participate in missions, local outreach, and education efforts.

Qualifications

• Experience in pastoral ministry with ability to shepherd a congregation.
• Proven ability to preach and teach regularly in worship settings.
• Skills in discipleship, mentoring and church leadership.

Responsibilities

• Preaching regularly.
• Teaching regularly.
• Cultivating readiness in the congregation to share the gospel.
