Job summary

Uftring Auto Group is seeking a Parts Counterperson to assist customers with automotive parts, identify part numbers, and manage orders both in person and by phone. You will support service technicians and ensure timely delivery of parts.

This position offers a weekly pay of $700 with potential bonuses ranging from $3,500 to $5,000 per year, along with a solid benefits package and clear opportunities for advancement within a long‑standing Illinois dealership group.

Qualifications

• Previous parts counter experience (OEM or aftermarket) preferred.
• Ability to identify correct part numbers.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
• Professional personal appearance and customer service mindset.
• Must possess a valid IL driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Assist walk in customers.
• Answer incoming calls, provide price quotes, set up orders, set up deliveries, and set up pick-ups.
• Pull purchase parts from stock.
• Assist Service Technicians with their parts needs.
• Verify “will calls” and back orders weekly.
• Order parts not in stock and notify Service on special order parts.

The Parts Counterperson is responsible for assisting customers in selecting the correct automotive parts, either in person or over the phone, by accurately identifying parts numbers, checking inventory, placing special orders when necessary, providing price quotes, and ensuring timely delivery to customers.

WEEKLY SALARY IS $700.00 WITH THE ABILITY TO MAKE $3,500-$5,000 IN BONUSES PER YEAR . We have a thorough but FAST hiring process!

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist walk in customers.
• Answer incoming calls, provide price quotes, set up orders, set up deliveries, and set up pick-ups.
• Pull purchase parts from stock.
• Assist Service Technicians with their parts needs.

SCHEDULE:

• Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. until 5:30 p.m.
• Alternating Saturdays: 7:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

• The compensation for a Parts Counterperson starts at $700.00 per week with the ability to make $3,500.00 to $5,000.00 per year in bonuses.
