Summit Spine and Joint Centers in Augusta, GA is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team on a Full-Time or Part-Time basis. The RN will work closely with physicians and clinical teams to deliver spine and pain management care and ensure a positive patient experience in a fast-paced clinic.

The ideal candidate has Georgia RN licensure, BLS/ACLS, and proficiency with EMR systems. Travel assignments offer a $10/hour differential with lodging provided beyond 3 hours of travel.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Georgia in good standing.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality nursing care for assigned patients using sound clinical judgment and evidence-based practices.
• Monitor patient conditions and report changes in symptoms or behaviors to the appropriate provider.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered and accurately document patient encounters and progress notes.
• Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and care team members to coordinate patient care and treatment plans.
• Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, health maintenance, and disease prevention.
• Provide compassionate support and guidance to patients and their family members throughout the care process.
• Ensure compliance with clinical policies, procedures, and patient safety standards.
• Communicate professionally with patients, visitors, clinicians, coworkers, and vendors, including in busy or stressful circumstances.
• Maintain professional composure and perform duties; manage stressors and use escalation procedures when appropriate.
• Exercise sound judgment; protect confidential information; address concerns through supervisory procedures.

Position Overview

Summit Spine and Joint Centers is seeking a compassionate and motivated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in the Augusta Georgia clinic on a Full-Time or Part-Time basis.

In this role, you will work closely with physicians and clinical teams to deliver specialized spine and pain management care while ensuring a positive and supportive patient experience. The ideal candidate is patient-focused, collaborative, and comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Schedule

Full-Time or Part-Time opportunities available

Optional- (4-day) schedule for full-time team members

One administrative day required each week (full-time only)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality nursing care for assigned patients using sound clinical judgment and evidence-based practices

• Provide compassionate support and guidance to patients and their family members throughout the care process
• Ensure compliance with clinical policies, procedures, and patient safety standards
• The employee must communicate professionally, respectfully, and effectively with patients, visitors, clinicians, coworkers, and vendors, including in busy, demanding, or stressful circumstances.
• The employee must maintain professional composure and consistently perform assigned duties throughout the scheduled work period; manage routine workplace stressors and feedback without disrupting patient care, patient-facing operations, or coworkers’ work; and use established de-escalation and escalation procedures when appropriate.
• The employee must exercise sound judgment; maintain appropriate workplace boundaries; receive and respond to routine feedback and direction; protect confidential patient and business information; and address patient or workplace concerns through established supervisory and safety procedures. These functions are essential to the position.

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Georgia in good standing

BLS and ACLS certifications required

Strong clinical assessment, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills

Ability to build rapport and effectively communicate with patients and families

Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) and clinical equipment preferred

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment

Compensation & Additional Benefits
