Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Speech Therapist to manage patient/resident care, participate as part of an interdisciplinary team, and ensure quality outcomes. The role involves managing resources efficiently and effectively to meet patient needs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide and direct rehabilitation care according to accepted practices, meeting all regulatory standards.
• Evaluate patient needs and develop effective treatment plans.
• Coordinate supervision of treatment plans with staff and other disciplines.
• Participate in screening and assessment of patients/residents.
• Provide feedback on clinical and rehabilitation issues to the Team Leader.
• Contribute to facility processes and services.
• Manage clinical documentation and billing records accurately and timely.
• Assist with marketing efforts as directed.
• Participate in training programs and may travel to other facilities.
• Perform other duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited college or university with a bachelor’s degree in physical or occupational therapy, or a master’s degree in speech-language pathology, or equivalent certification.
• Actively licensed as a Speech-Language Pathologist or related health care professional in the state(s) of employment.
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
