Urgency Room is seeking a Medical Assistant to join its multidisciplinary team in Minnesota. This role supports patient assessment, education, procedures, and care coordination to deliver a safe and patient-centered experience.

Urgency Room Medical Assistants play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care as part of a multidisciplinary clinical team. This position is responsible for supporting patient assessment, treatment, procedures, education, and care coordination while working collaboratively with physicians, advanced practice clinicians (APC’s), registered nurses, paramedics, and other healthcare professionals.
The ultimate goal of this role is to provide safe, efficient, and patient-centered care while contributing to a seamless clinical experience. By anticipating patient and provider needs, maintaining accurate documentation, and supporting clinic operations, the Medical Assistant helps ensure positive patient outcomes and operational excellence. This role is essential in supporting our mission to provide exceptional healthcare services to the communities we serve. We are seeking applicants for our locations in Woodbury, Golden Valley, Eagan, and Vadnais Heights.
The main job tasks include:
Work hours are based on clinic staffing and operational needs and may include a mixture of day, evening, weekend, and holiday shifts. Shift lengths may vary based on patient volumes and clinic requirements.
Travel to other Urgency Room locations may be required for training, meetings, and operational support.
