Job summary

The Christian Center of Park City is seeking a Full-Time Sales Associate for the Park City Thrift & Boutique. The role focuses on delivering exceptional customer service, maintaining store cleanliness, and assisting the store manager and volunteers in meeting goals.

Must be able to work 40 hours weekly, Monday through Saturday, with bilingual English/Spanish preferred. Base pay is $18.50 per hour with comprehensive benefits including employer-paid health insurance, HSA contributions,

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of customer service and cash handling experience preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of winter/summer sports equipment is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Serve as front-line customer service contact for the Boutique & Thrift Store.
• Support the store manager and teammates to meet community goals.
• Maintain store cleanliness and organization.
• Assist customers with product questions and pricing of donations.
• Open/close register tills when needed and operate POS accurately.
• Collaborate with volunteers and staff in a team environment.
• Assist in sorting and pricing donated items per training.

Full-Time Sales Associate

Availability: Mon thru Saturday 8 am - 6:30 pm (40 hours/week).

Campus: Park City Thrift & Boutique

Compensation and Benefits

• Base pay: $18.50/h
• Three weeks of paid time off for the threeyears (accrued quarterly).

Primary Responsibility

The Sales Associate role is responsible for serving as a front-line customer service contact for the Boutique & Thrift Storeat the Christian Center of Park City. Additionally, supporting the store manager and their teammates in reaching collective goals aimed to serve our community at their point of need.

Job Responsibilities

• Help maintain store cleanliness and organization.
• Provide an exceptional level of customer service by engaging with customers and assisting with product questions.
• Be willing and able to work closely with volunteers and staff in a team-based environment.
• Responsible for sorting and pricing incoming donations as outlined during training.
• Occasionally open and close register tills.
• Operate point of sale system with accuracy and precision.
• Work closely with the Store Manager and Recreation Supervisor.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or Equivalent
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multi-task environment and maintain a positive attitude in the midst of change.
• Good sales skills, with one year of customer service and cash handling experience preferred.
• Knowledge of winter/summer sports equipment is a plus but not required.
• Bilingual (English and Spanish) preferred but not required.
