Job summary

AMR is hiring full-time Paramedics in the Camden, TN area. We offer immediate opportunities with hourly rates starting at $21.50 plus DOE. You will deliver high-quality emergency and patient care using advanced equipment and protocols, while leading scene operations and coordinating with other responders.

Required credentials include state paramedic licensure, state driver’s license, and BLS/ACLS/NREMT-Paramedic certifications. A high school diploma or GED is also required.

Qualifications

• Paramedics must possess current state paramedic licensure.
• A valid state driver’s license is required.
• Basic life support, advanced cardiac life support, and national paramedic certification are required.

Responsibilities

• Assess calls and determine best course of action following paramedic protocols.
• Use medical equipment (defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen, suction, IV fluids) to provide advanced care.
• Communicate with patients and families to explain care plans and provide reassurance.
• Lead the paramedic team and manage scene and unit operations as needed.
• Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
• Collaborate professionally with allied health and safety personnel.
