Eurest is hiring a full-time Cook in Taylor, TX for a high-volume, corporate dining environment. Overnight availability, including weekends and some holidays, is required. A Food Handler’s Card is required; corporate dining experience is preferred.

Employment offers full-time hours with benefits. Prior cooking experience in large-scale food service is essential to meet production and service schedules.

Qualifications

• Must have professional cooking experience, including large-scale production, and the ability to work in a high-volume environment.
• A Food Handler’s Card is required.
• Previous experience in a corporate dining setting is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions to meet production, delivery and service schedules.
• Serves meals or prepares for delivery by using correct portioning and ensuring proper temperatures and presentation.
• Maintains cleanliness and safety, stores excess food according to safe procedures, and ensures proper storage of supplies.
• Operates and maintains kitchen equipment as instructed and assists in ordering and receiving of food and supplies.
