Job summary

Inner Sage Physical Therapy in Montgomery, NY is seeking a dedicated Outpatient Physical Therapist to provide patient-centered care in a state-of-the-art facility. The role features a Monday–Friday schedule from 8 AM to 4 PM and an emphasis on treatment effectiveness over patient volume.

You will perform evaluations, develop individualized plans, use hands-on manual therapy, prescriptive exercises, and educate patients and families.

Qualifications

• Current New York state licensure as a Physical Therapist is required.
• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy is mandatory; a Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments of new patients to establish baselines.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs.
• Utilize hands-on manual therapy, personalized exercise programs, and advanced modalities to enhance rehabilitation.

Work Environment

The work setting is an onsite outpatient rehabilitation facility where you will interact with a diverse patient population. You will be working Monday through Friday, from 8 AM to 4 PM, allowing for a balanced professional and personal life, while managing an estimated caseload of 6-7 patients per day.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments of new patients, utilizing various diagnostic tools and techniques to establish baselines.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs, integrating evidence-based practices and patient preferences.
• Utilize hands-on manual therapy, personalized exercise programs, and advanced modalities to enhance patient rehabilitation and recovery.
• Provide education to patients and their families about injury prevention strategies, rehabilitation exercises, and approaches to enhance movement efficiency.
• Document all patient interactions and treatment progress accurately in compliance with regulatory standards and clinic policies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, occupational therapists, and nursing staff, to ensure coordinated patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at Inner Sage, you will work primarily with individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, postoperative rehabilitation, and chronic pain conditions. Our patient population may also include athletes looking to enhance performance and prevent injuries, as well as community members seeking assistance with mobility and daily activities.

Qualifications

• Current New York state licensure as a Physical Therapist is required.
• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy is mandatory; a Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred.

Preferred Experience

• At least 2 years of experience in an outpatient clinical setting.
• Prior experience with patient education and rehabilitation protocols is advantageous.
• Experience in manual therapy techniques and functional training is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from $100,000 to $120,000, commensurate with experience. In addition, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
