Job summary

Sierra Pacific Orthopedics is seeking a Physical Therapist for the Fresno-Herndon Campus to provide direct patient care and collaborate with staff, physicians, and families. The role emphasizes evaluating, planning, and adjusting therapy programs, while mentoring PT Aides and coordinating with the care team.

The ideal candidate holds a CA Physical Therapy license, a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy, and CPR/BLS certification, with experience in outpatient ortho PT.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy and CA licensure.
• Current CPR or BLS certification.
• Experience in outpatient orthopedic physical therapy beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Participate in direct patient care.
• Review referrals and records to confirm candidacy for PT.
• Evaluate patient condition and perform appropriate tests.
• Plan and prepare timely treatment programs based on evaluation findings.
• Administer and modify treatment plans as indicated.
• Supervise PT Assistants and aides in therapy administration.
• Coordinate with physicians to optimize plan of care.
• Document assessments, treatments, and discharge plans in medical records.
• Maintain orderly, clean, and safe department environment.
• Contribute to department in-services and staff development.
