Job summary

Sierra Pacific Orthopedics in Fresno, CA seeks a Full-Time Licensed CHT/OT to join our physicians office. The role provides skilled occupational therapy for hand and upper-extremity patients, with direct access to physician notes and a collaborative team.

You will evaluate and treat, develop plans, document outcomes, and work with orthopedic physicians to advance patient progress. Requires CA OT license and outpatient hand rehab experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Current, unencumbered California license to practice as an Occupational Therapist.
• Required outpatient hand and upper extremity rehabilitation experience.
• Open to active/pending state board licensures and those sitting for board exam in next six months.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled occupational therapy evaluation and treatment for patients with hand, wrist, elbow, and upper extremity conditions.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs, diagnoses, functional limitations, and established goals.
• Utilize evidence-based interventions and techniques to maximize function and promote return to daily activities and work.
• Collaborate with orthopedic physicians and other health‑care team members to coordinate patient care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with regulatory standards.
• Educate patients and families regarding diagnosis, treatment, home exercise programs, and injury prevention.
