Legend Oaks Healthcare & Rehabilitation in New Braunfels, TX is seeking a full-time Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our in-house rehab program. The role involves evaluating patients, developing care plans, and delivering skilled rehabilitation therapies to support recovery.

Qualifications

• Occupational Therapy Assistant license is required.
• Open to COTAs at all experience levels. New Grads are welcome!

Responsibilities

• Conduct screening and evaluation of patients with physical functioning disorders.
• Deliver rehabilitative and medically necessary treatment interventions.
• Assist with standing, walking, lifting, transferring and positioning of patients and equipment.
• Administer procedures as part of the rehabilitation plan, including manual techniques and therapeutic exercises.
• Provide consultation to patients, families, and other service providers regarding physical disorders.
• Generate discharge summaries compliant with regulatory and clinical requirements.
