Great Marshall Physical Therapy & Wellness Center is searching for a dedicated full-time Physical Therapist to provide exceptional care in our state-of-the-art orthopedic outpatient practice located in Newark, New Jersey. In this vital role, you will assist patients in recovering their mobility and enhancing their quality of life through personalized treatment plans and evidence-based interventions.

Work Environment

This full-time position is based onsite at our Newark rehabilitation center, where you will work alongside a dynamic team of two licensed physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant. Our work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., allowing for a structured yet flexible work-life balance. We primarily cater to patients with private medical insurance, ensuring a focused and personalized therapeutic experience.

• Conduct thorough evaluations to identify patients' needs and establish tailored treatment goals.
• Manage a patient load of one patient per hour while ensuring efficient and high-quality care.
• Administer cost-effective therapeutic modalities that enhance clients' mobility and functional capacity.
• Develop comprehensive care plans utilizing a diverse range of treatment techniques that promote patient recovery.
• Encourage patients to maximize their functional abilities through motivation and personalized support.
• Promote healthy lifestyle choices that improve strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to optimize holistic patient care.
• Document all services and interactions thoroughly to ensure accurate patient records and continuity of care.
• Regularly assess the effectiveness of treatment approaches and adapt as necessary while maintaining open communication with patients.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily be working with patients seeking rehabilitation for orthopedic injuries and conditions. Our clientele often consists of individuals recovering from surgeries, sports-related injuries, or chronic pain syndromes. Your expertise will be crucial in guiding these patients toward achieving their rehabilitation goals and enhancing their overall wellness.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Active certification as a licensed Physical Therapist in New Jersey.
• A clean professional record free from any board actions or disciplinary measures.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and exercise prescription.
• Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT or similar platforms.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to patient-centered care.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly preferred.
• Expertise in using a range of therapeutic modalities, including manual therapies and exercise programs.

Compensation and Benefits
