Job summary

SHR (Spectrum Healthcare Resources) is looking for an experienced Physician Assistant to join the Warrior Operational Medicine Clinic at Nellis Air Force Base. The position requires providing high-quality care in a fast-paced military environment, with responsibilities including evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of patients.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 24 months of recent PA experience and must be a graduate of an ARC-PA accredited program. BLS and ACLS certifications are required for this full-time or part-time role.

Physician Assistant – WOMC (Warrior Operational Medicine Clinic)

Location: Nellis Air Force Base, Las Vegas, NV

Schedule: Full-time or Part-time | 24/7 coverage (all shifts required)

Position Summary

Seeking an experienced Physician Assistant to provide high-quality care in the Warrior Operational Medicine Clinic at Nellis AFB. This role involves delivering primary and urgent care in a fast‑paced military setting under physician supervision.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients in clinical and urgent care settings
• Perform patient histories, physical exams, and order/interpret diagnostic tests
• Develop and implement treatment plans
• Serve as Primary Care Manager (PCM) for assigned patients
• Provide preventive care and coordinate specialty referrals
• Manage emergent cases and stabilize patients as needed
• Collaborate with healthcare team and communicate clinical findings

Requirements

• Minimum 24 months of PA experience within the last 36 months
• Graduate of an ARC‑PA accredited program
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA or Red Cross)
• Ability to work rotating shifts in a 24/7 facility
