Acuity Eyecare Group is seeking a qualified optometrist to perform comprehensive eye exams and patient education in Sandy, Utah. The role emphasizes establishing lasting patient relationships, clinical assessment, and prescription of eyewear and medications.

The optometrist will also provide pre- and postoperative care and participate in promoting eye health within the community. State board certification is required, with a Doctorate of Optometry from a credentialed institution.

Qualifications

• Doctorate of Optometry from a credentialed institution.
• Must have passed all optometric state boards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct eye exams and vision tests.
• Establish long-term patient relationships through education and care.
• Advise patients on remediation options for refractive errors and ocular diseases.
• Prescribe eyeglasses, contact lenses, and medications as appropriate.
• Provide pre- and postoperative care for eye surgeries.
• Promote eye health and educate patients on lens care and maintenance.
