Warby Parker is seeking a patient-focused Full-Time Optometrist to practice at an affiliated independent optometry practice near a Warby Parker store. You’ll lead high-quality eye exams, prescribe eyewear and contact lenses, and educate patients while collaborating with store teams to grow the eye exam business.

You will practice under supervision and stay current with regulatory requirements, continuing education, and technology.

Qualifications

• OD licensed in the state where you practice, in good standing.
• Demonstrated patient-care excellence and teamwork.
• Business-minded with a drive to deliver results.
• Comfort with fast-paced environments and driving innovation.
• Willingness to learn new technology and stay updated.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality comprehensive eye exams and contact lens evaluations.
• Partner with store team to create an exceptional patient experience.
• Prescribe eyewear, contacts, and eye-health solutions tailored to each patient.
• Educate patients on options and support team with eye care knowledge.
• Be a visible clinical presence reinforcing Warby Parker's eye-care leadership.
• Use EMR tools to streamline care and patient experience.
• Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with standards.
• Maintain licensure and continuing education requirements.
• Grow the eye exam business at your location.
• Collaborate with Store Leader on goals and strategies.
