Job summary

Valley Medical Group, part of the Valley Health System in Paramus, New Jersey, is seeking a full‑time Ophthalmologist to join our growing Surgery Service Line. The Ophthalmologist will provide medical and surgical management of diseases of the eye and offer comprehensive eye care, including cataract surgery and glaucoma treatment and surgery.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree.
• Board eligible or board certified in Ophthalmology.
• New Jersey medical license, DEA, and CDS registration eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical and surgical management of ocular diseases.
• Perform cataract and glaucoma surgeries.
• Deliver comprehensive eye care in office and outpatient settings.
• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary Glaucoma Center of Excellence.
• Maintain accurate patient records and surgical documentation.
