REGIONAL CANCER CARE ASSOCIATES LLC in Riverdale, NJ is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to support physicians and clinicians in a fast-paced oncology/hematology clinic. You will greet patients, collect vitals, perform phlebotomy tasks, and prepare rooms for procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current CMA or RMA certification preferred.
• Ability to greet and assist patients and operate in a fast-paced clinic.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and escort to exam rooms for visits with physician or nurse practitioner and for lab work.
• Transport patients using wheelchairs and assist with vital signs and documentation in the EMR.
• Ensure exam rooms have supplies and prepare for bone marrow biopsies, lumbar punctures, and other procedures.
• Obtain and process laboratory specimens and manage sample transport for external testing.
• Maintain OSHA Universal Precautions and HIPAA guidelines; support a cohesive team.
