Job summary

RCCA in Freehold, NJ is seeking an outstanding Medical Assistant to support physicians in a fast-paced oncology/hematology clinic. You will greet patients, collect vitals, manage lab work, and assist with bone marrow biopsies and related procedures.

The position emphasizes accurate record-keeping, patient privacy, and adherence to OSHA/HIPAA standards. Current CMA/RMA certification is preferred, and full-time employment offers a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current Certification from an accredited program for CMA or RMA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients at front desk and escort them to exam rooms for visits and lab work.
• Obtain patient vitals, height and weight, and enter into the EMR.
• Ensure exam rooms are stocked with supplies and paperwork; assist with procedures as ordered.
• Set up for bone marrow biopsies, lumbar punctures and related procedures.
• Collect blood specimens by finger stick or venipuncture as ordered; verify patient identity.
