Human Touch Home Health in Washington, DC is seeking a compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our full-time Washington, DC team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited OT program.
• Active Washington, DC Occupational Therapist license required.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel between patient homes.
• Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to independently manage a full‑time home health caseload.
• WellSky experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Complete occupational therapy evaluations in patients' homes.
• Develop individualized plans of care.
• Help patients regain independence with activities of daily living.
• Provide therapeutic interventions to improve strength, coordination, mobility, and functional ability.
• Address dressing, bathing, grooming, toileting, meal preparation, and other everyday activities.
• Assess home safety and recommend adaptive equipment or modifications.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Complete reassessments and discharge planning.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and other members of the interdisciplinary team.
• Complete accurate and timely documentation using WellSky.

Human Touch Home Health is looking for a compassionate and motivated Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our Washington, DC team Full-Time.

We have patient opportunities throughout the District and are looking for an OT who wants the stability of a full-time position while still enjoying the independence and one‑on‑one patient care that comes with home health.

What We're Looking For

• Active Washington, DC Occupational Therapist License Required
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel between patient homes
• Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to independently manage a full‑time home health caseload
• Strong time‑management skills
• Home Health Experience Preferred, but Not Required
• WellSky Experience is a Plus
