Job summary

Human Touch Home Health in Silver Spring, MD is seeking licensed Occupational Therapists (OTs) for Full-Time, Part-Time, and PRN positions to cover a focused Silver Spring territory.

You will perform in-home OT evaluations, develop care plans, and support patients in improving daily living activities with safety assessments and equipment recommendations. A Maryland OT license is required, with flexible scheduling and mileage reimbursement offered.

Qualifications

• Active Maryland OT license required.
• Graduate of an accredited OT program.
• Reliable transportation to patient homes.

Responsibilities

• Complete OT evaluations in patients' homes.
• Develop individualized plans of care.
• Help patients improve independence with activities of daily living.
• Address dressing, bathing, grooming, toileting, meal preparation, and functional mobility.
• Provide therapeutic interventions based on patient goals.
• Assess home safety and fall risks.
• Recommend adaptive equipment and home modifications.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers.
• Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans.
• Complete reassessments and discharge planning.
• Coordinate with the interdisciplinary team.
• Complete timely documentation using WellSky.

What We’re Looking For

• Active Maryland Occupational Therapist License Required
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
• Reliable transportation
• Strong clinical and communication skills
• Ability to independently manage home health visits
• Home Health Experience Preferred, but Not Required
• WellSky Experience is a Plus
