Responsibilities

• Assess patient ability to safely perform occupational skills and design plan of care with treatment frequency.
• Implement treatment plans using appropriate modalities.
• Document subjective and objective patient progress findings.
• Monitor and adjust plan of care; seek consultation as needed.
• Educate patient and family about deficits and care options.
• Plan or assist with patient discharge and selection of adaptive equipment.
• Supervise and delegate tasks to assistants per licensure rules.
