Channel Islands Post Acute in Santa Barbara, CA is seeking a dedicated Full Time Occupational Therapist to join our in-house therapy team and help drive facility-level improvements. Competitive hourly pay and a supportive work environment are offered.

Key responsibilities include screening, evaluating, and treating patients with physical functioning disorders, and providing discharge planning and family counseling. OT license is required; new grads welcome.

• OT license is required.
• Open to OTs at all experience levels; New Grads welcome.

Responsibilities

• Screen and evaluate patients with physical functioning disorders to develop care plans.
• Deliver rehabilitative, skilled treatments per regulatory standards.
• Assist with standing, walking, lifting, transferring and repositioning of patients and equipment.
• Administer procedures as part of the rehab plan, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, modalities and wound care.
• Provide counseling to patients, families, and caregivers regarding physical disorders.
• Generate discharge summaries documenting services and ensuring regulatory compliance.
