Job summary

MercyOne Clinton Medical Center is seeking a Nutrition Services Worker to join our hospital dining team. You will prepare patient trays, serve meals to patients and visitors in the café, and maintain clean dining areas.

The role includes dishwashing, stocking, and setting up service for daily meals and special events. As part of MercyOne Health System, you will work in a collaborative environment and may handle cash transactions.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read labels, production orders, and storeroom setup.
• May require a valid Driver’s License for transporting meals.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patient trays and serve patients and visitors in café or dining areas.
• Washes dishes, including pots and pans; cleans assigned areas.
• Puts away stock and sets up service for meals and events.
• May operate the cash register following proper cash procedures.
• Role may involve transporting meals to other sites when required.
