South College Knoxville learning site located in Knoxville, TN, is conducting a search for the position of Clinical Nursing Faculty (instructor/assistant professor/associate professor; commensurate with experience) for the South College School of Nursing. The position will have primary teaching responsibilities in the clinical setting; however, may cross prelicensure nursing programs depending on educational level.
Full-time clinical faculty members are responsible for 36 clinical hours (primarily 12-hour shifts) at one of our clinical partner locations in Knoxville, TN and the surrounding area. The days of the week may vary from quarter to quarter. The remaining four hours will be used for clinical prep, grading, and mid/final evaluations. During periods in the quarter, there are no clinicals, the clinical faculty may assist in labs with checkoffs, setup, and instruction.
