Bay College in Escanaba, MI invites applications for a full-time Nursing Faculty position. The role involves teaching practical and/or associate degree nursing in theory, lab, and clinical settings, plus advising, curriculum development, and service to the Allied Health division.

Minimum qualifications include a master’s in nursing, active Michigan RN license or eligibility, and at least two years of RN experience. The college offers strong benefits and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in nursing is required.
• Current Michigan RN licensure or eligibility is required.
• Two years of full-time RN experience is required.
• Ability to assist nursing students in clinic and deliver patient care.
• Clinical competency in specialty area and BLS certification.
• Commitment to inclusive, learner-centered instruction and student success.

Responsabilités

• Instruct courses in lecture, lab, and clinical nursing to meet course objectives.
• Assist Division Chair and faculty in program development and evaluation.
• Create a classroom environment that develops critical thinking and communication skills.
• Maintain attendance, grades and student records as required.
• Support student recruitment, advising and success initiatives.
• Develop and oversee clinical practice sites and student learning.
