Crossroads Treatment Centers in Duffield, VA is hiring a full-time Nurse Practitioner to treat patients with opioid use disorder in our outpatient clinic. You will assess, diagnose, and manage patients, prescribe appropriate medications, and document care per Crossroads standards.

The role requires an active NP license, DEA registration, and the ability to enroll Medicaid/Medicare. Experience in addiction medicine is preferred. Schedule is 8am-5pm, four days a week, with benefits.

Qualifications

• DEA registration and ability to schedule controlled substances.

• Specialty in Family/Internal Medicine or Psychiatry preferred.

Day in The Life of a Full‑time Nurse Practitioner

Some Responsibilities include

• Evaluate and manage patients with opioid use disorder in our outpatient clinic settings
• Prescribe appropriate medications and treatments as indicated by patient assessment
• Complete medical documentation per Crossroads standards
• Collaborate with clinic staff to provide holistic care to patients, including referrals to other medical providers and community services
• Will perform injections

Schedule & Locations

• Primary center: Duffield, VA
• Target weekly hours: 32, full‑time with benefits
• Proposed schedule: 8am-5pm 4 days a week-days TBD

Education and Licensure Requirements

• Nurse Practitioner with an active, unrestricted licensure and authorized to practice in the state of practice
• Primary specialty in one of the following: Family Medicine/Family Practice, Internal Medicine, General Practice, Psychiatry
• DEA Certificate of Registration in the state of practice with ability to schedule 2, 2N, 3, 4, & 5
• Must have or be eligible for enrollment for Medicaid and Medicare credentials
• Additional education or certification may be required depending on state of practice

Preferred Experience

• Experience in addiction medicine, preferably with experience treating patients with opioid use disorder (OUD) and/or providing medication for opioid use disorder
