Pomerene Hospital in Millersburg, Ohio, is seeking a full-time LPN to join the OB/Maternity team for night shift (6:00PM – 6:00AM). The LPN will provide safe, timely nursing care, monitor vitals, administer medications, draw blood, give vaccinations, educate patients, and coordinate with physicians and staff.

Required: Accredited Practical Nursing Program completion, Ohio LPN licensure, and BLS certification (may be obtained during orientation). Preferred: 1–3 years of healthcare experience.

Qualifikationen

• Completion of an Accredited Practical Nursing Program.
• Valid State of Ohio LPN Licensure.
• BLS Certification is Required (May be obtained during orientation).
• 1–3 Years of Experience in a Healthcare/Medical setting is preferred.

Aufgaben

• Moves throughout the facility as needed, assists in emergency drills and situations, and provides direct patient care as described in the tasks and duties of this position.
• Performs nursing duties within the appropriate scope of practice under the direction of the physician/provider/RN.
• Provides patient and family education.
• Performs clerical/administrative tasks and duties as needed.
• Works cooperatively with unit staff, physicians/providers and ancillary departments.
• Maintains high standards for professional nursing practice.
• Performs all tasks and duties of this position according to department policy and procedure.

• Within the level of the nurse's qualifications, you may be assigned to work in other areas based on patient census and staffing needs.
