Manheim, a member of Cox Automotive, is seeking a Driver I to join the team in Mount Juliet, TN. No prior experience is required; you will be behind the wheel and help keep inventory moving and organized.

Pay rate is $18.00 per hour with a schedule of Monday to Friday, 3:30pm to 12am. The role involves heavy activity around vehicles, teamwork, and safety-focused operations. Benefits include paid time off and holidays.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license and a safe driving record are required.
• High school diploma or GED is preferred.
• Previous auction experience is a plus but not required.
• Ability to drive vehicles with both standard and automatic transmissions.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive vehicles through auction lanes on sale days and within auction grounds.
• Transport vehicles to and from designated areas, including customer dealerships and business locations.
• Stage, organize, and park vehicles in the correct order per supervisor directions.
• Help locate misplaced vehicles or relocate inventory as needed.
• Prepare vehicles for movement (inflate tires, jump-start vehicles).
• Communicate vehicle issues to the appropriate teams.
• Provide friendly support to customers, dealers, and coworkers.
• Follow safety procedures and support a safety-focused culture.
• May require overtime based on business needs.

What You'll Do

You'll spend your day behind the wheel, helping ensure vehicles are in the right place at the right time. You will:

• Safely drive vehicles through auction lanes on sale days and throughout auction grounds, following all auction driving procedures, traffic laws and defensive driving practices.


• Transport vehicles to and from designated areas on auction premises, as well as customer dealerships and business locations, providing a professional and courteous experience.


• Stage, organize and park vehicles in the correct order based on direction from supervisors or team leaders.


• Help locate misplaced vehicles or move inventory as needed.


• Prepare vehicles for movement by performing basic tasks such as inflating tires and jump-starting vehicles.


• Communicate vehicle issues to the appropriate teams.


• Provide helpful, friendly support to customers, dealers, account representatives, rental agencies and coworkers.


• Follow all safety and health procedures and actively contribute to a culture of safety excellence.


• May be required to work overtime based on business needs.

Work Environment

This role may involve frequent exposure to varying outdoor weather conditions and moderate noise levels.

USD 18.00 per hour

Compensation

Hourly pay rate is $18.00. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program.

Benefits

Employees are eligible to receive a minimum of sixteen hours of paid time off every month and seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year. Employees are also eligible for additional paid time off in the form of bereavement leave, time off to vote, jury duty leave, volunteer time off, military leave, and parental leave.
