Job summary

Saint Louis Park Independent School District 283 is seeking a Custodian 1 for nights at St. Louis Park High School. Under the Facilities Coordinator, you will maintain a clean, safe, and odor-free environment in assigned buildings, including classrooms, bathrooms, and common areas.

The role is full-time, 12 months, 1.0 FTE, nonexempt, with a hourly wage of $21.05 to $23.46. Starting date is immediate; benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Six months to one year of related custodial experience preferred.
• Boiler license is a plus and preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cleans classrooms, bathrooms, hallways, offices daily.
• Dusts and mops floors; waxes rooms when required.
• Keeps cafeteria clean; maintains teacher lounge and common areas.
• Restocks supplies; ensures doors are locked and building is secure.
• Assists with event setup/teardown and cleaning after events.
• Responds to cleaning requests and follows safety procedures.
