Job Summary Details:

The Full-time Night Cleaner is responsible for cleaning and maintaining an assigned area within a plant or industrial environment at OXY. This role requires working safely and efficiently in a high-compliance setting. Candidates must be at least 21 years old, possess a valid TWIC card, and a current driver’s license.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 4pm to 12am, and Sunday, 9am to 1pm

Location: 5900 Hwy 225 Gate 8A Deer Park, Texas 77536

Basic Qualifications:

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Must possess a valid state-issued driver's license
• Must possess a valid (TWIC) Transportation Worker Identification Credential card
• No experience required; on-the-job training provided
• No high school diploma, GED, or college degree required

Preferred Qualifications:

• Customer service experience
• One year of similar work experience

Responsibilities:

• Clean and maintain buildings and facilities
• Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage
• Notify management regarding repairs or additions to building systems
• Establish and maintain effective communication with clients, co-workers, supervisors, and managers
• Comply with safety, security, compliance, and quality standards
• Clean furniture, fixtures, floors, ceilings, walls, machines, and equipment
• Move furniture and equipment to clean areas
• Clean interior glass, windows, and mirrors
• Wash and replace blinds
• Empty trash bins
• Perform seasonal tasks like sweeping, raking, snow removal
• Clean and service restrooms
