Job summary

MISTRAS Group is seeking an experienced NDT Assistant to support field and shop inspections in the Richmond, VA area. This role targets candidates with prior NDT assistant experience and offers growth within nondestructive testing. NDT students and recent graduates are encouraged to apply.

Requirements

• Previous NDT Assistant experience is required
• NDT students currently enrolled in or recently completed an NDT program are welcome to apply
• Must be local to the Heath, OH area
• No relocation assistance is available for this position
• Ability to work overtime, weekends, and travel locally when needed
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Ability to lift equipment and work in industrial environments
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to industrial, manufacturing, or refinery environments
• Current safety certifications are a plus
• Experience supporting RT, UT, MT, PT, or VT inspections preferred
