Job summary

Qualifications

• Ability to use computers and handle administrative tasks in the absence of direct supervision.

Under the direction of Supervisor, Environmental Science, plans and implements environmental, historical, and cultural programs serving all ages and interest groups. Provide the general public with answers to inquiries regarding the environment, ecology, and other related issues.

Essential Qualifications

• Bachelor of Arts or Science degree from an accredited college or institution of higher education in the field of life science, ecology, earth sciences, wildlife conservation, or other natural history curriculums.
• Degrees in other fields acceptable provided applicant has experience, training or supplementary education in life sciences.
• Thorough knowledge of environmental and ecological concepts; ability to lead public groups and connect with people of all ages; must be well-organized, creative, and a good team player; some knowledge of office practices and procedures; ability to utilize computers; basic knowledge of handling administrative matters in the absence of direct supervision....
