Stathakis is seeking a dependable full-time Morning Janitorial Cleaner to join our on-site team in Detroit, MI. The role runs the morning shift from 7:00 am to 5:30 pm, three days on and three days off, including weekends and holidays paid at 3x.

The position emphasizes cleanliness, safety, and a professional facility appearance. Responsibilities include general cleaning, floor care, restroom sanitation, trash removal, surface cleaning, and restocking supplies.

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning and janitorial services throughout the facility.

• Empty trash, restock supplies, and sanitize restrooms.
• Wipe down furniture and surfaces; keep common areas tidy.
• Report maintenance or safety concerns to supervisor.
• Follow safety procedures and site-specific instructions.
• Complete additional cleaning duties as assigned.

Stathakis is seeking a dependable janitor/custodian for a full-time, on-site position in Detroit, MI. This role is ideal for someone who values cleanliness, consistency, teamwork and takes pride in maintaining a safe and welcoming facility environment. The position follows a Morning shift working 3 days on and 3 days off including weekends and holidays (pay X3) and pays $16.00 an hour from 7:00 am-5:30pm.

Position Summary:

The Janitor/Custodian is responsible for performing general janitorial and custodial duties to maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe facility. This role supports the day-to-day appearance and cleanliness of the building, including common areas, restrooms, floors, and other assigned spaces.

Key Responsibilities:

• Performing general cleaning and janitorial services throughout the facility
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain floors
• Empty trash receptacles and replace liners
• Dust and wipe down furniture, fixtures, and surfaces
• Clean and sanitize restrooms
• Restock paper products, soap, and other janitorial supplies
• Clean common areas and help maintain a professional appearance throughout the building
• Follow all company safety procedures and site-specific instructions
• Report maintenance or safety concerns to the appropriate supervisor
• Complete additional cleaning duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Janitorial, or custodial cleaning experience preferred, but not required
• Strong attention to detail and dependability
• Ability to work independently
• Good time management and work habits
• Ability to perform physical job duties, including standing, walking, bending, and routine lifting
• Must be able to pass a background check
• Authorization to work in the United States
• Must have valid Drivers License
• Must be able to work weekends and Holidays (pay X3)

Compensation and Benefits:

• $16.00 per hour
• $200 bonus for completing requirements paid on 2nd pay check
