Job summary

Eurest is hiring a full-time Food Service Worker for the IBM site in Rochester, MN. The role involves preparing, presenting and serving food, following safety standards and recipes to ensure quality and portion control.

Schedule is Monday–Friday, 5:30 am–2:00 pm. Experience in food service and short order cooking are pluses. Internal referral bonuses are available and applications are accepted ongoing.

Qualifications

• Food service experience preferred.
• Short order cooking experience is a plus.
• Ability to follow safety and sanitation procedures.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, presents and serves food as needed.
• Performs prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting and seeding fruits and vegetables.
• Weighs and measures designated ingredients.
• Carries pans, kettles and trays of food to and from work stations.
• Stores food in designated areas following wrapping, dating, food safety and rotation procedures.
• Cleans work areas, equipment and utensils.
• Distributes supplies, utensils and portable equipment.
• Utilizes approved recipes and production standards to ensure quality, serving temperatures and portions.
• Serves customers in a friendly, efficient manner.
• Resolves customer concerns and relays information to supervisor.
• Ensures compliance with service standards and inventory and cash control procedures.
• Assures compliance with sanitation and safety requirements.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
