Barden's Boat Yard Inc. in Massachusetts seeks a full-time Mooring Barge Operator to maintain moorings, inspect gear, and perform seasonal tasks. Responsibilities include winterizing and spring commissioning of pennants, buoys, and related gear, plus painting and power-washing as needed.

Must operate and maintain a 30’ barge with twin outboards and a hydraulic knuckle boom. The role requires independent work ability, lifting 50 lbs+, and routine mooring inspections.

Qualifications

• Must be able to operate and maintain a 30’ barge with twin outboards and a hydraulic knuckle boom.
• Ability to work independently and lift over 50 lbs.
• Experience maintaining mooring systems and performing seasonal tasks is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain approximately 300 moorings, including seasonal adjustments and inspections.
• Power-wash pennants and buoys, paint and inspect for wear and tear.
