Job summary

Cadence Education in the United States is seeking an Assistant Montessori Teacher to join a caring team and bring your love of children to the classroom. This full-time role works alongside trained Montessori teachers to create a nurturing, educational environment for infants through Kindergarten (birth to 6 years).

No experience is required, and candidates with a CDA or Associate's Degree or some college coursework are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum Required CDA or Associate's Degree, or some college coursework.
• At least 18 years of age
• Preferred Bachelor's degree in a related field (Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Human Development).

Responsibilities

• Play a supporting role in the classroom under the direction of trained, Montessori teachers and work amongst a team of teachers.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and tidy classroom environment in accordance with Montessori philosophy.
• Provide basic care and active supervision of young children as needed.
• Engage in positive redirection to children and maintain a positive learning environment.
• Communicate with parents as needed on routine matters regarding the health, and care of students.
