Job summary

Union Beer Distributors, a division of the Sheehan Family Companies, is hiring for a full-time merchandiser to support accounts across New York City and Long Island. You will rotate products, manage displays, and install POS materials to meet company standards.

Starting pay is $20 per hour with auto and phone stipends. Applicants need a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift and work independently or in a team. We are an equal opportunity employer.

Responsibilities

• Rotate product and follow code policy.
• Display products according to Company standards.
• Install and maintain POS materials (permanent and paper).
• Organize floor displays, window neon/banners at accounts.
• Coordinate cooler resets per Company standards.
• Maintain weekly appointments with accounts in assigned area.
• Develop and maintain strong customer relations.
• Other duties as assigned.

What you'll be doing:

• Ensure that all product is rotated and code policy is followed
• Ensure that all products are properly displayed according to Company standards
• Install and maintain permanent and paper Point Of Sale material
• Organize and execute floor displays and placement of window neon's and banners at all accounts
• Organize and execute cooler resets according to Company standards
• Maintain a regular schedule of weekly appointments with accounts in assigned area
• Develop and maintain effective customer relations
• Other duties as assigned

What you will need to succeed:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Enthusiastic, high energy, and self-motivated individual with a desire to succeed
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to work in all environments (including physical labor such as lifting, standing, sitting, kneeling, etc.)
• Must have strong attention to detail, communicate effectively, and strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
