Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with merchandising and freight processing tasks delegated by the Store Manager.
• Supporting hiring, training, and development of store associates as delegated.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist with all store functions and daily activities as directed by the Store Manager.
• Perform opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Help protect and secure company assets, including cash.
• Adhere to all policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Maintain a professional and friendly environment for customers, staff, and supervisors.
• Keep all store areas, including stockroom and sales floor, to company standards, including recovery.
• When the Store Manager is absent, assume supervisory responsibility for hourly associates.
• Process all corporate directives related to store activities.
• Assist with receipt and return of DSD merchandise following VIP and DSD policies.
• Manage freight flow and maintain stockroom organization.
• Meet or exceed productivity standards.
• Assist with ordering, stocking merchandise, and maintaining sales-effective displays.
• Support planning and implementation of sales strategies and merchandising plans.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

• Prior retail and management experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift and transport merchandise weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
