Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist with all store functions and daily activities as directed by the Store Manager.
• Perform opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Help protect and secure all company assets, including store cash.
• Follow all policies and safety guidelines.
• Maintain a professional and friendly environment for customers, employees, and supervisors.
• Keep all store areas, including the stockroom and sales floor, in company-standard condition, including recovery tasks.
• When the Store Manager is absent, take supervisory responsibility for hourly associates.
• Process all SSC Corporate directives and related store communications.
• Assist with receipt and return of DSD merchandise, following VIP and DSD Policies and Procedures.
• Help manage freight flow and stockroom organization.
• Meet or exceed productivity standards.
• Assist in ordering, stocking, and maintaining merchandise, including frozen and refrigerated items.
• Ensure the sales floor is sales-effective daily and plan merchandising strategies, including Clip Strips and Power Panels.
• Participate in planning and executing monthly Sales Planners.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

• Prefer prior retail and management experience.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Ability to lift, bend, and transport merchandise weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
