Ottawa County CMH Grand Haven is seeking a licensed mental health professional to provide clinical assessment, diagnosis, and treatment services to individuals and families. You will collaborate with a treatment team to develop person-centered plans, deliver therapy, and ensure compliance with regulations at the Grand Haven location.

The role requires a Master's degree in social work or psychology, MI licensure eligibility, and experience in a mental health agency.

Qualifikationen

• Master's degree in social work or psychology required.
• Two years of relevant professional experience preferred.
• Lived experiences with mental illness, developmental disabilities, or substance use disorders are valued.

Aufgaben

• Delivers services to consumers as a member of the treatment team.
• Conducts mental health screening, intake, and assessment of consumers; establishes eligibility and treatment plans.
• Provides direct individual and group therapy based on diagnoses and plans.
• Employs evidence-based practices to treat target population and promote recovery.
• Identifies community resources, creates referral protocols, and liaises with resources.
• Performs clinical evaluations to aid court dispositions and may testify as an expert witness.
• May provide crisis intervention and coordinate with Crisis Services and police as needed.
• Develops person-centered treatment plans and monitors progress against benchmarks.
• Collaborates with psychiatrists in medication reviews and manages psychotropic regimens.
• Provides case management, monitors progress, and evaluates treatment plans.
• Maintains HIPAA-compliant case documentation and health information security.
• Provides information about mental health services and may present to the community.
• Acts as an advocate for access to affordable, quality mental health care.
