Koelsch Communities is seeking a personable Culinary Aide to join the Arbor Hills Memory Care dining team in Plano, TX. This full-time role starts at $16/hour and includes comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth.

The Culinary Aide will provide meal service, bus tables, and help maintain sanitation and safety standards, while delivering compassionate, resident-focused care. Expect daily interaction with residents and involvement in special events.

Qualifications

• Positive interpersonal skills are required.
• A food handler's card is required.
• Basic math skills are required.
• Ability to lift 15 pounds.
• Must be drug free and pass screening on hire.
• Must pass a criminal background check as required by state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare dining room tables and keep dining area clean.
• Follow sanitation, safety, and alcohol beverage control policies.
• Assist residents with menu selections and explain daily specials.
• Bus dirty dishes and refill beverages as needed.
• Interact with residents in a courteous, empathetic manner.
• Maintain grooming and a clean uniform at all times.
• Perform basic cleaning tasks as directed by supervisor.
• Assist with special events and other duties as assigned.
