Qualifications

• Graduate of a University or Hospital based Medical Dosimetry program with a clinical and classroom curriculum of at least 9 months or Registered Radiation Therapist with on the job training in dosimetry under the supervision of a dosimetrist, medical physicist or radiation oncologist with an additional 1 year of practical, supervised experience in radiation therapy dosimetry.
• Upon hire: National Certified Medical Dosimetrist - Medical Dosimetrist Certification Board.

Responsibilities

• Routinely performs the treatment planning process, including design and dose calculations as prescribed by the Radiation Oncologist.
• Assists the physicist and collaborates with Physicians; communicates all treatment parameters to the treatment team.
