Summit Academy OIC is seeking a full-time on-site Medical Billing and Coding Instructor to lead the MAA program and related courses. The role emphasizes curriculum development, instruction, and classroom management to prepare students for living-wage careers in healthcare.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in a healthcare-related field.
• 1–2 years of field experience in medical billing and coding.
• Experience teaching adults.

Responsibilities

• Develops and delivers curriculum for Medical Billing and Coding within the MAA program.
• Teaches Medical Billing and Coding and related MAA courses using lectures and demonstrations.
• Manages the learning environment, records grades, and enforces policies.
• Models professional behavior and HIPAA compliance within coursework.
• Incorporates current billing trends and technology into coursework.
