Job Summary

Gila Health Resources is seeking a Full‑time Medical Assistant for its Safford Clinic. This position performs various duties such as phlebotomy, rooming patients, taking vitals, completing various tests/screenings, such as drug & alcohol collection, EKGs, pulmonary function, hearing, and respirator fit testing.

Once fully trained for drug & alcohol screening, this position will involve working an after‑hours on‑call rotation. The successful candidate must possess excellent interpersonal, customer service, and patient skills, work well with a team, be detail‑oriented, punctual, professional, positive, and reliable.

Responsibilities

• Phlebotomy
• Rooming patients
• Taking vitals
• Compiling and completing tests/screenings (drug & alcohol collection, EKGs, pulmonary function, hearing, respirator fit testing)
• Working an after‑hours on‑call rotation after full training in drug & alcohol screening

Employment Conditions
