Job summary

Premise Health is seeking a Full Time Medical Assistant to support client employees and their dependents in our Brentwood Health Center. The schedule is Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm, with a 1–2pm lunch break.

The role involves vitals, records, room prep, injections, labs, EKGs, and front-desk support. Requires MA certification (national or Premise Health approved) with hands-on externship and BLS; prior MA experience preferred. Competitive pay and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Must have MA certification from an approved program or national MA certification with hands-on externship.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS/ACLS where applicable) certification is required.
• Prior Medical Assistant experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interview patients and measure vital signs (pulse, temp, BP, weight, height).
• Maintain patient health records with accuracy and completeness.
• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments.
• Administer medications including injections and perform laboratory tests and EKGs as allowed by regulations.
• Assist at the front desk, schedule appointments, follow up with patients, and order medical supplies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
