Job summary

Premise Health is hiring a Full Time Medical Assistant for our Health Center in Grayslake, IL. The role involves caring for client employees and dependents, conducting patient interviews, recording vital signs, and preparing treatment rooms.

You will also administer medications, run lab tests, and perform EKGs as allowed by state regulations. The position supports administrative tasks, front desk duties, appointment scheduling, and coordinating medical supplies.

Qualifications

• National certification in Medical Assisting from a Premise Health approved organization.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• CMA certification from recognized certifying bodies is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interview patients and measure vital signs.
• Maintain patient health records with up-to-date information.
• Prepare treatment rooms, clean and sterilize instruments.
• Administer medications, perform lab tests, and operate EKGs as permitted.
• Assist at the front desk, schedule appointments, and manage supplies.
