Job summary

Premise Health is seeking a Full-Time Medical Assistant to provide care for client employees and dependents at our South Bend Health Center in Indiana. The role is 40 hours per week with a set schedule during health center hours.

The start date is planned for early January 2027. You will interview patients, record vitals, prepare treatment rooms, and perform injections, lab tests, and EKGs under state regulations.

Qualifications

• National certification in Medical Assisting or approved program with externship completed
• Current certification with hands-on training in BLS/CPR (AHA/ARC) required
• State Lab Certificate where applicable
• CMA or equivalent certification from recognized certifying bodies
• Previous Medical Assistant experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Interviews patients and measures vital signs
• Maintains patient health records and ensures up-to-date documentation
• Prepares treatment rooms and sterilizes instruments
• Administers medications including injections and conducts lab tests
• Operates EKGs and diagnostic equipment as permitted
• Performs front-desk tasks, schedules appointments, and orders supplies
• Performs other duties as assigned
